Mara Acel-Green, MSW, LICSW, is a psychotherapist and owner of Strong Roots Counseling. Since 2001, Mara has worked in the Boston area with adolescents and adults. In addition to Mara's general practice, she is a field leader in providing specialty treatment during pregnancy and postpartum (perinatal) period for people with mood and anxiety disorders. Mara also developed a certificate for professionals focusing on the use of CBT for perinatal emotional complications
